How it works
Nicotinell TTS30 is designed for the first phase of stopping smoking in case of strong dependence. By delivering a constant, controlled amount of nicotine through the skin, the receptor need in the brain is saturated without the harmful substances of tobacco smoke. Ingredients
Basic butylated methacrylate copolymer (Eudragit E 100), polyester film coated with aluminium, acrylate-vinyl acetate copolymer (Duro-Tak 387-2516), medium-chain triglycerides (Miglyol 812), paper 26 g/m², siliconised, aluminium-coated polyester film, brown ink.
Use & Dosage
To increase the chance of success when stopping smoking, you must stop smoking completely during treatment with Nicotinell patches. Apply to clean, dry, intact and hairless skin. After application, press the patch for 10-20 seconds. Alternate the location of the patch daily. Avoid contact with eyes and nose. Wash hands after use. Do not use for longer than 6 months without consulting a doctor. Read the package leaflet before use. Maximum dosage: 1 patch per 24 hours.
Safety & Disclaimer
Do not use if you do not smoke or only smoke occasionally or are allergic to the ingredients. Remove the patch before an MRI procedure. Stop immediately in case of severe skin reactions. During pregnancy and breastfeeding: must NOT be used, unless on strict advice of a doctor. Consult a doctor when using theophylline, antidepressants, antipsychotics, beta-blockers, or medicines for heart rhythm disorders or cancer. Be extra careful with asthma, COPD, heart disease, diabetes, stomach ulcers or thyroid disorders. Do not use together with certain other medicines.
