How it works
The active substance oxymetazoline hydrochloride has a vasoconstrictive effect on the blood vessels in the nasal mucous membrane. This reduces swelling and enlarges the nasal passage. Ingredients
Oxymetazoline hydrochloride, sodium citrate, polysorbate 80, benzyl alcohol, sorbitol, citric acid, benzalkonium chloride, menthol, camphor, eucalyptus oil, sodium edetate, purified water.
Use & Dosage
Adults and children over 10 years: 1-2 sprays in each nostril, maximum 2-3 times per 24 hours. Children aged 6-10 years: 1 spray in each nostril, maximum 2-3 times per 24 hours. Blow nose before use. Remove protective cap, press pump a few times during first use until mist appears. Keep bottle upright, insert nozzle into nostril and keep other nostril closed, spray 1 time and breathe through the nose at the same time. If no improvement after 3 days, consult a doctor.
Safety & Disclaimer
Do not use in children younger than 6 years, if allergic to the ingredients, if using MAO inhibitors (now or in the past 2 weeks), acute heart conditions, narrow-angle glaucoma, after pituitary surgery or if the nasal mucous membrane is damaged. Do not use for longer than 7 consecutive days to prevent damage to the mucous membrane. Consult a doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, have high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disorders or an enlarged prostate. Consult a doctor if symptoms occur on only one side of the nose or if there is persistent shortness of breath.
