How it works
These eye drops contain sodium hyaluronate, a substance known for its ability to retain water and stabilize the tear film. After instillation, the movement of the eyelid ensures that the liquid forms a transparent film. This film helps to maintain the natural moisture balance and protects the eye against dehydration by external factors.

Ingredients
1ml of solution contains sodium hyaluronate 1.8 mg, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium phosphate, sodium citrate, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, and water for injections.
Use & Dosage
The cap of the ampoule must be twisted off. Tilt your head backwards and hold the tip of the ampoule above the eye to be treated. Pull down the lower eyelid with the index finger of one hand. Squeeze the ampoule and a drop of Vismed will easily fall out. Unless otherwise recommended, drip 1 or 2 drops of Vismed into the eye as often as necessary. When you blink, the solution spreads and forms a transparent and long-lasting layer on the eye surface. Vismed can also be used while wearing contact lenses (hard or soft).
Safety & Disclaimer
Individual hypersensitivity to any component of this product. Do not use Vismed at the same time as a medicine or other product that must be administered into the eye, as this may affect their effect. Do not touch the tip of the opened ampoule. Also, do not touch the surface of the eye with the tip of the opened ampoule. Solutions that are not used immediately after opening the packaging must be discarded. Otherwise, sterility is no longer guaranteed and there is an increased risk of infection. Do not use Vismed if the ampoule is damaged. Store at temperatures between 2°C and 25°C!
