How it works
The effect of Vismed light is based on sodium hyaluronate, a substance that occurs naturally in the human body and is known for its ability to retain water. When blinking, the liquid spreads evenly over the eye, creating a stable tear film. Ingredients
1ml of solution contains 1.0 mg of sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium citrate, disodium phosphate, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, water for injections as well as disodium edetate and polyhexanide as preservatives. The solution is hypotonic.
Use & Dosage
Before first use, turn the cap anti-clockwise until the safety ring breaks. Unscrew the cap. Tilt your head backwards and hold the tip of the ampoule above the eye to be treated. Pull the lower eyelid down with the index finger of one hand. Squeeze the ampoule and a drop of Vismed will easily fall out. Unless otherwise recommended, drip 1 or 2 drops of Vismed into the eye as often as necessary. When you blink, the solution spreads and forms a transparent and long-lasting layer on the eye surface. Vismed can also be used while wearing contact lenses (hard or soft).

Do not use Vismed at the same time as a medicine or other product to be administered into the eye, as this may affect their effect. Do not touch the tip of the opened ampoule. Also, do not touch the surface of the eye with the tip of the opened ampoule. Solutions that are not used immediately after opening the packaging must be discarded. Otherwise, sterility is no longer guaranteed and there is an increased risk of infection. Do not use Vismed if the ampoule is damaged. Store at temperatures between 2°C and 25°C! Keep out of reach of children.
