Davitamon Vitamin D3, 20 mcg is a food supplement that has been specially developed for adults to provide for an increased need for vitamin D.

Vitamin D plays an essential role in various bodily functions such as the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from the diet and the maintenance of strong bones and teeth. Vitamin D also supports the proper functioning of the muscles.

Ingredients
Sweetener: mannitol, maize starch, vitamin D3;, flavourings, acid: citric acid, anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids.

Usage
Health Council Advice
The Health Council advises the following population groups to take an extra 10 micrograms of vitamin D daily throughout the year, in addition to their normal diet:

Women aged 50 to 69 years
Adults who do not go outside enough (less than 15 minutes per day between 11:00 and 15:00)
Adults with a dark skin tone
Pregnant women

The advice for the elderly from 70 years of age is to take an extra 20 micrograms of vitamin D per day. Davitamon has a suitable vitamin D product for everyone.
