How it works
The Formule W Wratten freeze pen works on the basis of cryotherapy, a method also used by GPs. By briefly cooling the wart extremely, the tissue is tackled to the core. After the treatment, an invisible blister forms under the wart, after which the virus disappears and the thickened skin makes way for new, healthy skin cells. This process supports the natural recovery ability of your skin.

Tips for treatment: For plantar warts, take a foot bath and/or treat the wart with a file, rasp, or pumice stone. This ensures your treatment is more effective, as the wart is softened and a bit more tender. Protect the surrounding healthy skin with petroleum jelly during treatment. Apply the petroleum jelly with a cotton swab. Treatment: Place the pen tip on the wart for 20 seconds and on plantar warts (callus and/or thicker skin) for 40 seconds. You may experience a painful, itchy, and/or stinging sensation. Warts will generally have disappeared 2 weeks after 1 treatment. If the wart has not gone away, you can treat the wart again. Leave an interval of 8-12 days between treatments. Repeat the treatment a maximum of 3 times.
