Ingredients
The active substance in this medicine is xylometazoline hydrochloride. Contains 1 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride per 1 ml of nasal spray, solution. The other substances in this medicine are benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride and purified water.
Use & Dosage
Xylometazoline HCl Linn 1 mg/ml must not be used in children under 12 years of age. For children aged 2 to 12 years, another strength is available: Xylometazoline HCl Linn 0.5 mg/ml, nasal spray, solution. The recommended dosage is: Adults and children from 12 years: One spray in each nostril, three times a day. There should be 8 to 10 hours between two administrations. No more than three administrations per nostril per day. Blow nose before use, head slightly forward and spray into nostril, squeeze the bottle once and inhale through the nose at the same time, repeat for the other nostril; maintain 8-10 hours between administrations. Do not use for longer than 7 days without consulting a doctor.
