Ingredients
Aciclovir, propylene glycol, petroleum jelly, cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, poloxamer 407, sodium lauryl sulphate, glycerol monostearate, macrogol stearate 100, dimethicone 20 and purified water.
Use & Dosage
Adults and children: Apply Zovirax Cold Sore cream 5 times a day, at 4-hour intervals, as soon as you get symptoms. You do not need to apply cream at night. Maximum dosage: 5x per 24 hours. Apply a little cream to the fingertip and from the finger to all affected skin. Try to avoid contact with the blisters, otherwise the infection may spread. Use this medicine for at least 4 days and keep 4 hours between applications. Wash hands before and after use. If there is no improvement in the complaint within 10 days, consult a doctor.

Do not use when it has been shown that you are hypersensitive to the active ingredient aciclovir, valaciclovir, propylene glycol or any of the other ingredients of the cream. During pregnancy: May be used. During breastfeeding: Not preferred, consult your doctor. Consult GP in case of: babies with a cold sore, spots that have not disappeared after 14 days, spreading of inflammation or pus formation, blisters on other parts of the body, or in case of a weakened immune system/eczema. Do not use on mucous membranes (mouth, eye, vagina) and not suitable for genital herpes.
