Zovirax Cream duo distinguishes itself with a dual-action formula. While the antiviral substance aciclovir helps inhibit the spread of the virus, the hydrocortisone calms local inflammation. Ingredients
Liquid paraffin, propylene glycol, isopropyl myristate, sodium lauryl sulphate, cetostearyl alcohol, white soft paraffin, poloxamer 188, citric acid monohydrate, sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, and purified water.
Use & Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years: Apply the cream five times a day for 5 days (i.e., approximately every 3-4 hours during the day). It is recommended to start treatment preferably as soon as possible after the first signs or symptoms (e.g., tingling, itching, or redness). Do not use the medicine for longer than 5 days. If your symptoms persist 5 days after you have stopped treatment, you should tell your doctor. Wash your hands before and after application.

Do not use if allergic to any of the substances or for skin infections other than a cold sore. Not suitable for children under 12 years. Use this medicine only for cold sores on the lips and the skin around the lips. Do not use in the eye, mouth, nose, or on the genitals. Do not use if you have a weakened immune system or with dressings such as plasters. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only after consultation with a doctor. Contains propylene glycol, cetostearyl alcohol, and sodium lauryl sulphate which can cause local skin reactions.
