1. Wash hair with shampoo before applying the product. For stubborn grey hair or product build-up, use the included Clarifying shampoo. Rinse and towel-dry hair to remove excess moisture. 2. Comb your damp hair so it is free of tangles. 3. Put on the included plastic gloves. Unscrew the cap of both bottles and pour the contents of the Colour Gel into the Colourfix bottle. 4. Place the applicator cap firmly back onto the Colourfix bottle, shake well, unscrew the tip, and use immediately. 5. Gently squeeze the colour onto your hair, starting at the roots and then applying to the entire hair. 6. Gently massage the entire colour into your hair until everything is covered. 7. Put on the plastic cap and cover all your hair. Wait 30 minutes. For grey hair or extra lightening, you can leave the colour on for up to 40 minutes. 8. Remove the plastic cap. Put your gloves back on and add a few drops of water to your hair. Massage until a lather forms. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. Then wash with the Tints of Nature Hydrate Shampoo from the box. Rinse thoroughly. 9. Condition your hair with the Tints of Nature Hydrate Conditioner. Comb through the hair and leave on for about 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly one last time. 10. Admire your new look. Touching up roots: Follow steps 1 - 4 as described above. 5. Gently squeeze the colour only onto the roots. Massage the colour only into the roots. 6. Cover with plastic cap and leave on for 20 minutes. 7. Remove the cap and put your gloves back on. Squeeze the remaining colour over the rest of your hair and massage it in. Put the cap back on and wait 10 minutes. Follow the instructions from step 8 as described above. Storage advice: Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool place away from light or heat. Keep the packaging for a few days in case you experience a reaction.
Hair dyes can cause severe allergic reactions. Read the safety instructions and follow the directions for use carefully. Perform a skin sensitivity test 48 hours before colouring your hair. Even if you perform a sensitivity test, you may still experience an allergic reaction. The sensitivity test is no guarantee to avoid future allergic reactions. If you have temporary "black henna" tattoos, these may increase your risk of an allergic reaction to hair dyes. This product is not intended for use on persons under 16 years of age. Please do not colour your hair if: You have a rash on your face or a sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp; You have ever experienced a reaction after colouring your hair; You have experienced a reaction to a temporary "black henna" tattoo in the past. This product contains phenylenediamine (PPD). Contains hydrogen peroxide. Do not use for colouring eyelashes and eyebrows. Wear suitable gloves. Rinse hair well after use. Avoid contact with ears and face. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately. If irritation persists, seek medical help. Unscrew the tip of the applicator bottle immediately after mixing to prevent the bottle from bursting and the product causing damage when it flows out of the bottle. Mixed colour cannot be stored. For external use only. Seek medical help if you experience itching, a burning sensation, rash, or an allergic reaction. Contact the manufacturer and/or the relevant national authority if you experience allergic and/or other reactions. Before you start: Skin sensitivity test: Although this hair dye has a very gentle formula for hair and skin, you should always perform a sensitivity test 48 hours before use. For testing, you do not need to mix the Colour Gel and Colourfix. Wash and dry a small patch of skin: the inside of your elbow is a good place. Rub a little bit of colour gel onto your freshly washed and dried skin. When using different colours together, you should use the darkest colour (or the lowest number). Once the colour gel has dried, you can stick a plaster over it or leave it uncovered. If you see a reaction (redness, pain, irritation, or a burning sensation), you should rinse the test area of your skin immediately. After 2 hours, rinse off the rest of the colour gel and monitor the test area closely for the next 48 hours for a possible reaction. If you experience a reaction, you must not use the product on your hair, and if your skin continues to feel painful and irritated, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist for medical advice.
