How it works

C-Reactive Protein (CRP) is a marker produced by the liver in response to inflammation or bacterial infections. In healthy individuals, this concentration is usually lower than 8mg/L, but this can rise significantly in the case of infectious diseases. This test uses a visual indicator where different lines appear based on the CRP concentration in your blood. Ingredients

The test kit contains a test device in a protective pouch, a plastic capillary pipette for blood collection, a dropper bottle with diluent, and a sterile lancet for blood collection.

Use & Dosage

1. Prepare the test device, the pipette, and the dropper bottle with diluent. Remove them from the protective pouch (tear at the notch). Remove the screw cap from the diluent dropper bottle and leave it nearby. 2. Clean the tip of the middle finger or ring finger with cotton wool moistened with alcohol. Press the lancet firmly against the side of the previously cleaned finger and press the release button. 3. Bring the plastic pipette into contact with the blood sample without pressing the bulb. The whole blood migrates into the pipette by capillarity to the line indicated on the pipette. Place the collected whole blood sample into the opened dropper bottle with diluent by pressing the pipette. 4. Break off the tip of the dropper bottle and slowly place exactly 4 drops into the sample opening of the device with an interval of 2-3 seconds between each drop. Read the result after 5 minutes. Do not interpret after 10 minutes.
