How it works
DerMel® skin ointment uses the scientifically recognised properties of honey in wound care. The ointment forms a thin, protective barrier that prevents moisture loss while simultaneously creating an unfavourable environment for unwanted bacteria. The addition of arachis oil (peanut oil) and beeswax (Cera Alba) ensures intensive hydration of the stratum corneum, making the skin feel less dry and potentially reducing the urge to scratch.
