Use & Dosage
1. Empty a sachet of nasal irrigation salt into the nasal irrigator and fill it with lukewarm water. The water you use may be boiled, but it does not have to be. Western European tap water is generally clean enough. Shake the nasal irrigator a little before use. Make sure you have a tissue or piece of kitchen roll at hand to wipe your nose during nasal irrigation. 2. Lean forward slightly and place the nasal irrigator at an angle (at an angle of approximately 45°) into one of your nostrils. 3. Squeeze the nasal irrigator gently and let the nasal irrigation salt flow out of your nose after squeezing. The nasal irrigation salt can flow out through the same nostril (in case of a severely blocked nose) or through the other nostril. Both are fine. You can blow your nose lightly if necessary. This will release extra nasal irrigation salt and dirt from your nose. Place the tip of the nasal irrigator in the other nostril and repeat this process until the nasal irrigator is empty. By squeezing gently, you prevent nasal irrigation salt from ending up in your throat.
