When you are recovering from an injury or need to dress a wound on a moving joint, a standard bandage is often not enough. It slips, constricts, or comes loose with every movement you make, which can delay the recovery process and cause unnecessary irritation. Elastomull cohesive fixation bandage has been specially developed to eliminate these inconveniences by providing a reliable, self-adhesive fixation that moves smoothly with your body, so you can continue your daily routine with confidence.
- The self-adhesive structure ensures that the bandage only sticks to itself, making fixation clips unnecessary and ensuring hair is not pulled.
- Thanks to an elasticity of approximately 50%, the bandage conforms effortlessly to the contours of your body, even during complex joint movements.
- High absorbency and breathability due to the combination of cotton and viscose support a comfortable feel throughout the day.
- The bandage is sterilizable in an autoclave or with gas, making it suitable for applications where a high degree of hygiene is required.
How it works
The secret to the effectiveness of Elastomull Haft lies in the micro-droplets of natural rubber latex with which the fibres are impregnated. This creates an anti-slip effect, ensuring the layers remain firmly attached to each other with only minimal overlap. The polyamide fibres in the fabric ensure that the stretchability is maintained, even after a longer period. This helps prevent constricting pressure points and venous congestion, provided the bandage is applied without excessive tension. It acts as a reliable partner in your health by providing stability where it is needed most.
