Use & Dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older:
The recommended dosage is 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily.

Use in children aged 6 to 12 years:
The recommended dosage is 5 mg twice daily (half a tablet twice daily).

Instructions for use:
Take with a large amount of water. In case of moderate to severe impairment of kidney function: half a tablet (5 mg) once a day. If there is no improvement in the complaint after 3 days of use, consult your doctor. Pay attention to the maximum daily dosage of 1 tablet per 24 hours. Read the package leaflet before use.

Safety & Disclaimer

Do not use in case of severe impairment of kidney function (severe renal failure with a creatinine clearance below 10 ml/min) or if you are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride, hydroxyzine, piperazine derivatives or any of the other ingredients in this medicine.

Warnings:
This medicine may reduce reaction speed; be careful when driving and operating machines. Ensure children play safely after intake. Consult a doctor before use in case of epilepsy, urination problems or an enlarged prostate. This medicine affects the results of allergy tests; stop use three days before the test. Stop use immediately in case of fever, redness and pustules and consult a doctor. Avoid simultaneous use with alcohol.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding: Must NOT be used.

Consult a GP in case of wheezing, shortness of breath, very swollen eyes with coloured eye discharge, symptoms on only one side of the nose, or when symptoms do not decrease after 2 weeks (for example, in case of a reaction to the oak processionary moth).
