Use & Dosage

Use the follow-on milk following breastfeeding or following any other infant milk. Always use 1 measuring scoop (4.5g) for 30ml of water. Babies need approximately 5 meals per day. With every new meal of solid food, one bottle feed should be dropped. The recommended drink quantity and number of portions per day are guidelines. Your child does not necessarily have to finish the bottle. To be consumed as part of a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Dosage for reconstituted milk:
- 170 ml = 150 ml water + 5 measuring scoops of milk powder
- 200 ml = 180 ml water + 6 measuring scoops of milk powder
- 235 ml = 210 ml water + 7 measuring scoops of milk powder

Preparation method:
1. Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to approximately 40-50°C (do not pour boiling water over the powder to avoid damaging the natural lactic acid bacteria).
2. Pour the cooled water in the correct amount into the bottle.
3. Fill the measuring scoop loosely and level it off. Put the recommended amount of milk powder into the baby bottle.
4. Close the bottle and shake vigorously.
5. Let it cool to drinking temperature (approximately 37°C). Always check the temperature before feeding.

Safety & Disclaimer

Inadequate preparation or use of this product can harm your child's health. Follow this advice carefully: Use a carefully washed and sterilised baby bottle, teat and ring. Use only the measuring scoop that is in this tin. Always prepare the bottle just before the meal and give it to your baby immediately. The bottle must be consumed within half an hour. Do not heat the milk in the microwave due to the risk of burns. Leftover milk must not be reused. Check the expiry date on the bottom of the tin.

Important information: Breast milk is best for your baby. HiPP 2 Bio Combiotic® milk should not be used as a substitute for breast milk during the first six months of life. HiPP 2 Bio Combiotic® is only suitable as specific nutrition for infants who are at least 6 months old and is only part of a varied diet. Consult your doctor to find out if your baby is ready for a varied diet.

Storage instructions: After opening, the well-sealed tin can be stored for 3 weeks in a dry place at room temperature.
