How it works

Jacob Hooy Bitter Salt, also known as Epsom salt or magnesium sulphate, is a traditional mineral with a strong osmotic effect. When used internally, it draws moisture into the intestines, which stimulates natural bowel movements and helps with a thorough inner cleansing. When used in a warm bath, the salt dissolves in the water, allowing the magnesium and sulphate ions to be absorbed through the skin. This contributes to softening sensitive muscles, promotes overall relaxation, and supports recovery after physical exertion.
