How it works

The Medela Breast Milk Bottle is carefully composed of polypropylene, a safe and shatterproof material that optimally preserves the quality of the breast milk. The bottle connects seamlessly to Medela pumps and teats, meaning you do not have to pour the milk into another container. Use & Dosage

Before first use and once a day: Take apart, wash and rinse all parts. Place the parts in a pan large enough. Fill with cold water so that the parts are submerged. Soapy water or a non-abrasive detergent can also be used. Heat the water and let it boil for 5 minutes.

Freshly expressed milk.
Room temperature: do not leave at room temperature.
Fridge: 3 to 5 days at approx. 4°C.
Fridge freezer compartment: 6 months at approx. -16 °C.
Freezer: 12 months at approx. -18 °C.

Thawed breast milk (previously frozen):
Room temperature: do not store.
Fridge: 10 hours.
Fridge freezer compartment: never refreeze.
Freezer: never refreeze.
