How it works
Shiepz Melatonin 5mg Jet Lag is a registered over-the-counter medicine (RVG 125560 UAD) that has been specially developed for adults travelling between different time zones. Melatonin is a body-own substance that plays a crucial role in regulating our natural sleep-wake rhythm. By taking melatonin at the right local time, you help synchronise your biological clock with the new environment. This supports a natural transition and helps manage the fatigue resulting from jet lag.

Ingredients
calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, anhydrous colloidal silica, and pregelatinised starch.
Use & Dosage
The recommended dosage is one 3 mg tablet daily for a maximum of 4 days. The first dose should be taken upon arrival at the destination at your usual bedtime (local time). The dose on subsequent days should also be taken at your usual bedtime. If the standard 3 mg dose does not sufficiently reduce symptoms, one 5 mg tablet may be taken at local bedtime instead of the 3 mg tablet. The 5 mg tablet should not be taken in addition to the 3 mg tablet, but a higher dose may be taken on subsequent days. The maximum daily dose is 5 mg once daily. The dose that sufficiently relieves symptoms should be taken for the shortest possible time.
It is important that melatonin is taken at the right time. If you take the tablet at the wrong time, melatonin may cause drowsiness and delay adjustment to local time. Therefore, the tablets should not be taken before 20:00 and after 04:00. The tablets should be swallowed with a glass of water. It is advised not to eat 2 hours before and in the 2 hours after the planned time of taking melatonin.
Contact a doctor if symptoms do not improve or worsen within 6 days.
You can divide the 5 mg tablet into equal doses.
Maximum dosage: 5 mg per 24 hours.
Read the package leaflet before use. Pay attention to the maximum daily dosage.
