How it works
Rocket seed is closely related to mustard and radish, which provides the characteristic, spicy flavour after germination. By placing the seeds on a moist surface, the germination process is activated. This process unlocks the essential nutrients stored in the seed, giving you young, vital plants packed with flavour within a few days. As your trusted partner in health, VitAdvice helps you to integrate fresh, living food into your daily routine in an accessible way.

Use & Dosage
1. Cover a saucer or plate with a layer of unscented zigzag cotton wool, and wet it. Squeeze out most of the water (hold the saucer at an angle), and form an even surface.
2. Spread one to two teaspoons of seeds over this. Prevent the seeds from lying on top of each other. Heaps of seeds can form clumps. Press the seeds down lightly.
Place the saucer at room temperature. Ensure sufficient daylight, but do not place it in direct sunlight.
3. Ensure (but only after the seed has germinated) that the cotton wool layer remains moist (not too wet) for the remaining cultivation period¹.
4. Once the cultivation period has passed, cut the required portion of sprouts as low as possible. The sprouts are now ready for consumption.
Enjoy your meal!
The saucer with the remaining part can be stored at room temperature. You can continue to eat from this for a few more days.
¹ CULTIVATION PERIOD: ± 6 days
Safety & Disclaimer
Store in a dry, sealed place and in the dark. Ensure a clean environment during cultivation and use clean materials to prevent mould growth. Keep the cotton wool moist, but avoid standing water in which the seeds can drown or rot.
