Sinaspril Paracetamol 120 mg suppositories contain paracetamol, an active substance with a proven analgesic and antipyretic effect. Use & Dosage

Insert the suppository anally with the pointed end first. Pre-moistening the suppository facilitates insertion. Always maintain an interval of at least 6 hours between administrations. The dosage depends on the child's age and body weight:

From 3 months (3.0 - 5.5 kg): 1 suppository of 60 mg, maximum 2 to 3 times per day.
3 months to 1 year (5.5 - 10 kg): 1 suppository of 120 mg, maximum 2 to 3 times per day.
1 to 2 years (10 - 12.5 kg): 1 to 2 suppositories of 120 mg (or 1 of 240 mg), maximum 2 to 3 times per day.
2 to 4 years (12.5 - 17 kg): 1 to 2 suppositories of 120 mg (or 1 of 240 mg), maximum 3 times per day.
4 to 6 years (17 - 22 kg): 1 to 2 suppositories of 120 mg (or 1 of 240 mg), maximum 4 times per day.

For children up to 4 years old, do not use for longer than 2 days without consulting a doctor. For children over 4 years old, do not use for longer than 14 days. If pain persists for longer than 5 days or fever for longer than 3 days, you should stop treatment and consult a doctor.

Safety & Disclaimer

Do not use if your child is allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients in this medicine. Not suitable for liver or kidney disorders, Gilbert's syndrome, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, haemolytic anaemia, dehydration, chronic malnutrition, and asthma in combination with an allergy to aspirin.

Important warning: Do not exceed the recommended dosage, as an excessive dosage can lead to serious liver and kidney problems. Long-term use against headaches can actually cause headache complaints. Stop use immediately if skin rash or mouth sores occur and consult a doctor immediately. Do not use simultaneously with other medicines containing paracetamol. Always read the package leaflet carefully before use.
